I was sitting Indian style and struggling with my headphone wire when I suddenly heard a loud bang and loud yelling outside. A minute later , I heard the door of my room forcefully opened. There , I saw Mei panting heavily tried vainly catching her breath. She glared at my head. Maybe trying to make a big hole with her glare.
"erm.. Yes Mei?" I put my headphone beside me and turning myself facing her. Without any words she sat beside me and grabbed my headphone wire.
" I can't believe it! He broke my glasses!" She huffed. Her finger trying desperately to untangled the tangled wire. I chuckled.
"wow. How so?" I wrapped my arm around her shoulder . " and who is he who broke your glasses?"
Mei took in a big breath. "Well. I was playing Mario party with Mike. When I heard a faint crash and a loud cursing-"
"erm. I didn't heard any crashing sounds and a loud cursing." I quirked my eyebrow at Mei . She looked at me dumbly.
"Where were you 10 minutes ago? "
"erm.. Here? " Mei looked around and pointed my headphone next to me. " And you are hearing your ipod. Am I correct?" She looked at me clearly annoyed. I nodded.
She groaned. "Then you can't hear anything with your ear plugged !" I smiled shepishly. " erm.. continue Mei"
"So When I went to my work station . I find my Glasses scattered on the table." She buried her face in the pillow. A sigh of frustration escaped her lips
"did the lens out from its frame? " I asked innocently. She threw a pillow at me in attempt to hit my head. And she succeeded.
"Yes baby. The lens is out. Now can I borrow your ds please? I am frustated enough with the whole graphic and 3d things and now the high and mighty Luke just broke my glasses with his butt and he won't take ANY responsibility! and now I can't -"
"okay. okay. Chill Mei. Chill." I grabbed my bag besides me and give her my white ds. "You know. When I was 9th grade. I get my glasses squashed too." I remembered My poor glasses that trampled by my OWN feet. because I was chasing ipeh.
Mei opened the ds and pushed the on/off button. Without turning her head to me. "How so?"
"I stomped it. When I was chasing ipeh." I smirked. Proud from my statement. She turned to me and made a face.
"Did the lens out from its frame?" I chuckled . "Yes the lens was out from its frame , Mei. "
A peaceful silence filled the room. with megaman starforce theme song playing from my ds. "Mei. don't you dare play my Zerker. Play ninja. " I threatened silently.
again. peaceful silence filled the room. I listening to my ipod. Mei busy with my nintendo.
"hei. ensli." I opened my eyes and hummed. "Why are you here?"
I rolled my eyes. " I am working duh."
"I know that. I mean Why are you here?" She asked softly. eyes never leaving my nintendo screen.
" erm.. working?" Mei sighed. "you never worked here remember. Well you worked here. rarely. You always worked at home." sensing there is no reply. Mei continue "Chase is furious you know."
I removed my earphone. "How come? did I do something wrong?" I tried desperately to remember . Is it that 'nitro' project? Is it fail? Is it below 5th rank?
I failed to remember as I can feel dread creeping my guts. Mei noticed my discomfort chuckled.
"seriously it's not that bad." She throw a pillow at me "It's not like he's going to kick you out."
"But what if he does? It's his house after all!"
Mei turned her body. facing me. " ensli. trust me. IT . IS . OKAY. "
"but but but. He is scary." I muttered under my pillow.
"I know. "
"He can kick me anytime!"
"You've said that."
"I don't want to be kicked!"
"I know."
"oh my gawd. what should I do. what should I do-"
"ensli."
"erm. Yes? "
"Shut up."
"okaaay."
"and go." she threatened me .
I glared at her under my pillow. "You are not helping."
"need I pull your ass to him?"
I sighed loudly and get out of that comfy bed. I walked and grabbed the doorknob. I could feel butterflies dancing inside my stomach. "Mei. If my downfall is death by Chase. " I gulped. " Or heart attack. My nintendo is yours." Then I opened the door.
I walked through the door. On my way to see Chase I saw Angel was sitting in front of my work station. Doing something.
"Hey gel. May I know what are you doing in my work station?" I stand beside her.
She turned her head at me and grinned. "Hey sli. long time no see."
"long time no see too gel." I flashed my smile. " So. what are you doing in my work station?"
"Oh. I was learning your previous flash you know. Mei told me so."
I saw the computer screen and saw little link was slashing his sword.
"hmmm. If you have anything to ask. don't hesitate then. sugar." I tackled her with hug and tickled her waist. She laughed loudly.
"okay okay. I ask you later then." a little giggle escaping her mouth. " So what are you doing then?"
"well actually I am searching for Chase." I scratched my head. "Do you see him?"
"mmhmmm. I think I saw him at kitchen. doing something. I don't know. "
"okay. I go see him then . See you later noob"
She rolled her eyes "Bye then sea kraken. "
So I went straight to kitchen. And saw Chase was chopping something. I guess it was tomato? I don't remember. okay ensli. inhaleee. exhaleee. I deliberately took a slow stride to him. He didn't notice me until I was standing 2 meter behind him. Feeling someone presence he turned his back. His right hand holding a knife.
"OH MY GAWD. DON'T KILL ME." I shrieked like a banshee and put my hand in defense mode. Chase cringed and glared at me.
"calm yourself . You make my ears bleed." Chase put the knife in the counter and looked at me. "What do you want?"
I stared at him in horror. I could feel sweat was formed in my palm. "Hello Chase. fancy meet you here." I forced a smile. at him and waving my hand a little. He glared at me with his poker face and turned around. He continued chopping his tomato. (maybe?)
Feeling ignored. I talked to him first. "Well. Is something wrong?"
He finished his chopped tomato and put it inside the boiling water. "nope."
"Is it the raw project I send to you? I s it bad?"
"Yes it is." He grabbed 2 instant noodles and tear the lid open.
I looked at 2 instant noodle Chase holding. "aren't that mi sedap?"
"Yes they are."
"Is that curry?"
"Yes they are."
Awkward silent filled the room. I played with my nails and shifted uncomfortably.
"You know." I give it a pause before continuing "Mei told me that you were mad at me."
"oh. she did?" he looked at me from his shoulder a second then turned away. I stared at him dumbly.
"Yes she did. seriously Chase is it the project matter. Well I am sorry then. My raw wasn't to good-"
"no it's fine."
"Then what is the problem?" I asked clearly annoyed.
" I called you yesterday." He paused. "6 times"
" I left my phone at my bag-"
" Work can't wait. Mrs. Angela."
I glared dangerously at him. "Don't call me that. It's disgusting."
"I see then."
silence.
"okaaay. I am sorry then." I laughed awkwardly at him. "We are okay then... I suppose."
He stirred the noodles in front of him and tasted it. "I guess."
I squealed happily. I clapped my hand together " So am I still working here?"
"Yes you are. unless you want me to kick you out. " He turned his back. his hand holding the noodles. I grinned at him and pointed the noodles
"So can I have your noodles please?"

"Hello Mei!" I chirped happily at Mei. My hand holding a bowl of noodles with egg in it.
"Hei ensli. did Chase already kicked you out?" She quirked an eyebrow to me. I grinned.
"Nope. He gave me a bowl of noodles baby." I sat beside her. and eat my noodle happily. She sniffed my noodle.
"Is that mie sedaap?"
"Yup." I slurped my noodles
"curry?" I nodded happily
I smacked her shoulder playfully and give her a fork.
"Wait! I save my game first!"
She hurriedly close my ds and grabbed the fork. With mouthful of noodles She asked me.
"So did Chase kicked you yet?"

ensli's rant : EPIC YOU KNOW EPIC >D . I can't believe I finished this in one day. *giggle* I know I am sucks at updating. Please don't throw that tomatoes at me. *waving white flag* Okaaaay. I was playing megaman starforce and forgot about this blog. end of the story. Okay folks. I swear I'll update faster next time. wish me luck then. >D
